2011.
Building The Foundation
VNPT Technology was established on 6 January 2011 with a vision to become a leading technology and electronics manufacturer in Vietnam. In its inaugural year, the Company strengthened its operational foundation by acquiring equity stakes in ANSV and TELEQ, transforming them into subsidiaries, and establishing VIVAS to expand its technology ecosystem. Demonstrating strong execution capability from the outset, VNPT Technology also secured a USD 7.6 million contract to deploy Vietnam's 3G network infrastructure, marking the beginning of its journey in delivering large-scale telecommunications solutions.
2013.
Strengthening Innovation
VNPT Technology introduced the Vivas Lotus S1, the first Vietnamese-branded smartphone fully researched, developed, and manufactured in Vietnam, representing a significant achievement in the Company's technological development. The company also expanded the commercial deployment of ADSL modems and upgraded Manufacturing Plant No. 1 with advanced production technologies, reinforcing its innovation and manufacturing capabilities.
2015.
Expanding Our Reach
VNPT Technology strengthened its engagement in regional telecommunications through its participation in the 15th ASEAN TELMIN – ASEAN Ministers Meeting on Telecommunications and Information Technology. The Company also deployed its first shipment of DVB-T2 digital television equipment, broadening its digital technology portfolio, and was recognised for its contributions to Vietnam's socio-economic development.
2017.
Scaling Manufacturing Capabilities
VNPT Technology supplied its 5 millionth GPON-ONT device for FTTH broadband networks, demonstrating the rapid expansion of its manufacturing scale and broadband expertise. The Company's achievements were further recognised through the Pride of Vietnamese Workers' Intelligence Award and the Government Emulation Flag awarded by the Prime Minister.
2018.
Expanding Beyond Borders
The export of VNPT Technology's first international shipment marked a significant milestone in its global expansion. The Company further strengthened its broadband portfolio with dual-band ONT products, while its technological capabilities received further recognition through the Asia-Pacific Stevie Award for the IoT Platform, the Vietnam Brand Popularity Award for the iGate and SmartBox product lines, and its inclusion among the Top 10 Prestigious Software & System Integration Companies in Vietnam.
2020.
Driving Intelligent Innovation
VNPT Technology surpassed the milestone of 10 million network and consumer electronic devices produced, while expanding its smart technology ecosystem through the commercial launch of ONE Home – One Vision. he Company's continued innovation was recognised with multiple prestigious ICT and Smart City awards.
2023.
Accelerating Manufacturing Excellence
VNPT Technology delivered over 25 million products, including 9 million ODM devices, reinforcing its position as a trusted manufacturing partner. The Company further expanded the VNPT SmartHome ecosystem, achieved multiple international certifications.
2025.
Engineering the Future Together
The inauguration of Electronics Factory No. 2 marked a significant milestone in expanding VNPT Technology's manufacturing capabilities. Equipped with advanced SMT, DIP and assembly lines, the new facility enhances production capacity, operational efficiency and readiness for future growth. Building on this foundation, VNPT Technology continues to invest in advanced technologies, smart manufacturing and strategic partnerships, strengthening its end-to-end ODM/OEM/EMS capabilities to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers and global markets.
